What you will do

• Build and maintain exchange and liquidity provider adapters using REST, WebSocket, and FIX protocols.
• Normalize external venue APIs into canonical internal models.
• Develop low-latency, fault-tolerant services for RFQ, execution, and market data flows.
• Integrate with an event-driven stack including NATS JetStream, Redis, and Postgres.
• Collaborate on migrating legacy Java/Spring monoliths and RabbitMQ to Go-based microservices and NATS.
• Improve platform resiliency, observability, and operational reliability.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in both Java and Go.
• Proven track record of building API integrations (REST, WebSocket).
• Deep understanding of concurrency and system performance.
• Experience with event-driven systems like Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
• Domain experience in trading, including exchanges (crypto/TradFi), liquidity providers, or RFQ flows.
• Ability to design systems that handle unreliable external APIs and real-world edge cases.

Nice to have

• Experience working with the FIX protocol.
• Background in crypto trading infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Redis, Postgres, and NATS.
• Experience with legacy system modernization and migration.
• Exposure to high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
