TL;DR

Senior Project Manager (Software): Own the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects with an accent on technical requirements and stakeholder communication. Focus on managing technical risks, facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring alignment between business expectations and technical execution.

Location: Hybrid (Athens, Greece); must be able to work on client premises

What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers, infrastructure teams, and business analysts to define technical requirements.
  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Proactively manage technical risks and issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Track and report KPIs and project milestones to senior leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal group policies.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software project management.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or MS Project.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work on client premises for the duration of the project.

Nice to have

  • Prior software engineering experience.
  • Experience within the banking sector.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PM2, PRINCE2, or SAFe.
