What you will do

• Review and classify safety-critical events from on-road and simulated driving using internal frameworks.
• Maintain and refine labeling guidelines and taxonomies to improve event classification.
• Identify systemic safety patterns and surface findings to engineering and product teams.
• Use Python and SQL to slice labeled data, build reports, and monitor performance drift.
• Integrate LLM-based tools into the classification and review workflows.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Prior experience in an analytical role requiring both quantitative work and careful judgment.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL for data exploration and analysis.
• Solid understanding of probability and statistics.
• High attention to detail for extended review of complex driving scenes.
• Clear written communication for guidelines and cross-team coordination.

Nice to have

• Strong driving intuition with the ability to clearly explain driving quality.
• Experience with AV, robotics, or other safety-critical autonomous systems.
• Background in large-scale structured review work (e.g., trust & safety, aviation safety, or insurance claims).
