What you will do

• Lead the development of end-to-end features for a lean team, balancing rapid delivery with long-term code health.
• Write production-grade code across the entire full-stack TypeScript ecosystem daily.
• Architect and deploy custom agentic workflows, state machine logic, and RAG pipelines.
• Develop custom guardrails and quality algorithms to mathematically measure and prove LLM output reliability.
• Translate ambiguous high-level ideas into functional code quickly.
• Establish rigorous engineering standards, including code review processes and guidelines for AI coding assistants.

Requirements

• Expert-level TypeScript proficiency (Generics and Discriminated Unions).
• Deep experience with Node.js and building custom state-machine-driven backend logic.
• Strong capabilities in modern frontend frameworks, specifically SvelteKit (React or Vue experts are also welcome).
• Proven track record of deploying practical LLM-powered features or agents.
• Advanced daily use of AI engineering tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
• English: C1+ proficiency (Outstanding communication skills) required for an async-first environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with dynamic asset creation tools like PDFKit or Puppeteer.
• Familiarity with the Slack API for third-party integrations.
• Experience building data pipelines or working with analytics platforms like PostHog and Metabase.
