TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (Node.js/React): Building and optimizing end-to-end application features for a variety of clients with an accent on scalable backend services and cloud-native Azure solutions. Focus on integrating LLM APIs and AI capabilities to enhance product functionality and engineering productivity.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Mexico)

What you will do

  • Deliver full-stack features from database schema design and API implementation to React UI and production deployment.
  • Design and build scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs focusing on performance and developer ergonomics.
  • Architect and integrate Azure-hosted services including Functions, Cosmos DB, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Embed AI capabilities into products using LLM APIs and Azure OpenAI.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and engineering teams in architecture discussions and technical planning.
  • Optimize performance across the entire stack, from database queries to frontend bundle size.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience with Node.js and React (or Next.js).
  • Strong fluency in TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Service, Blob Storage, DevOps).
  • Proficiency in relational database schema design and query optimization (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Experience with REST or GraphQL API design.
  • English: Proficiency in async written communication required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, AI Search, or Cognitive Services.
  • Knowledge of LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or prompt engineering.
  • Experience with message queues such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi).
  • Prior consulting or client-facing engineering experience.
