What you will do

• Set the long-term product vision, roadmap, and portfolio priorities for the Physical Sciences domain.
• Define target product profiles (TPPs) for workflows including materials design, formulation, and scale-up.
• Drive product execution from concept to launch across simulation, lab automation, data engineering, and ML.
• Act as the senior external voice for the domain, representing the product to executives, partners, and customers.
• Own end-to-end commercial outcomes, including opportunity shaping, proposal development, and deal closure.
• Define and report success metrics and milestones to company leadership.

Requirements

• MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in physical sciences (materials science, chemistry, physics, or related engineering).
• 7+ years of product leadership experience building complex technical products such as scientific software, simulation platforms, or ML-enabled systems.
• Deep understanding of physical-science R&D workflows, instrumentation, and data quality.
• Strong executive communication and storytelling skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence research, engineering, and commercial teams.
• Must be based in or able to work from Cambridge, MA, USA.

Nice to have

• Track record of executing TPPs for integrated scientific platforms (software + hardware + workflows).
• Experience building products at the intersection of LLMs/agentic systems and scientific workflows.
• Direct experience with external partners in materials, energy, aerospace, or manufacturing.
• Deep domain knowledge in semiconductors or formulations.
