What you will do

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, with a primary focus on Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet platforms.
• Design, implement, and optimize security policies and rulebases to align with organizational standards and compliance.
• Utilize Palo Alto Panorama for centralized management of template stacks, device groups, and policy hierarchies.
• Apply Layer 3 networking knowledge to support secure architectures and resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide operational monitoring and incident handling using Splunk for improved visibility.
• Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on Network Security Engineering and firewall management.
• Proven experience in Security Policy Design and Palo Alto Panorama.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 3 networking.
• Ability to work from Las Colinas (TX), Charlotte (NC), or Chandler (AZ).

Nice to have

• Advanced expertise in Palo Alto Networks.
• Experience with Fortinet security solutions.
• Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching.
• Experience using Splunk for troubleshooting and operational visibility.
• Background working within large enterprises or the financial services industry.
