TL;DR

Cloud Security Architect Lead II (Azure/AWS/GCP): Design and implement secure cloud architectures and lead cloud security strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP with an accent on hands-on cloud security engineering, CSPM/container security, and cloud incident response. Focus on building secure configurations and automation (WIZ + Azure automation), running security assessments against NIST/CIS, and guiding junior staff while aligning IAM and privileged access with best practices.

Location: PA/KT/RI Remote with some onsite travel

What you will do

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop Azure cloud automation code with the WIZ platform and support secure cloud configuration.
• Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with NIST and CIS frameworks.
• Lead cloud incident response and contribute to tabletop exercises.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to enforce secure CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.
• Manage CSPM and container security technologies; perform security reviews and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in PA/KT/RI (remote) with some onsite travel
• 10+ years of direct cybersecurity cloud experience configuring and supporting cloud applications and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure architecture and core services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security tooling (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Identity and Access).
• Strong understanding of cloud components (VMs, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, IaC) and privileged account/IAM best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (PowerShell or Azure CLI) and experience building CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with Python, .NET, or Java.
• Certifications such as M365 Security, AZ-104, or AZ-500.
