What you will do

• Architect and scale automation frameworks from scratch while defining organizational tooling standards.
• Drive AI-augmented testing practices and integrate quality controls into the deployment lifecycle.
• Build and maintain scalable test infrastructure and environment provisioning using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Define org-wide quality metrics and build intelligence dashboards to track customer outcomes.
• Partner with platform engineering to implement feature flag-based release strategies.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while advocating for a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be based in London, UK.
• 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, GitOps).
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, shift-left practices, and the full SDLC.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with AI/ML-based testing tools and LLM-assisted test generation.
• Experience with AI-powered observability for real-time UX drift detection.
• Background in performance and load testing tools like k6 or JMeter.
• Experience tying quality outcomes to user experience metrics like CSAT and task completion rates.
