Test Manager

What you will do

• Define and refine test strategies aligned with programme and client objectives.
• Establish practical test governance, including risk-based plans, entry/exit criteria, and quality metrics.
• Promote and foster the adoption of UI and API test automation within Agile/DevOps environments.
• Manage the full testing lifecycle across system, integration, UAT, and release phases.
• Provide clear, evidence-based reporting on quality status, risks, and release readiness to senior stakeholders.
• Lead defect management processes and mentor the testing team to foster professional growth.

Requirements

• Extensive background in software testing with a track record in Test Manager or Senior Test Lead roles.
• Hands-on technical expertise in modern test automation tools and frameworks.
• Proven experience working in Agile or dynamic delivery environments.
• Strong consulting or client-facing experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Evidence-based approach to problem-solving and risk-based decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as ISTQB or ISEB (Advanced Test Manager).
• Experience with specialized testing tools for performance, security, accessibility, or resilience.
• Experience managing testing across multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
