Software Engineer (Integrations, Node.js)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Integrations, Node.js): Building and optimizing connections between the hirify.global platform and external ERPs, POS, and third-party food management systems with an accent on API design and system reliability. Focus on implementing a public API, designing end-to-end integration flows, and strengthening the backend foundation to scale the platform.

Location: Hybrid (Aarhus, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London) or fully remote anywhere in Europe

What you will do

• Develop and improve existing integrations that power customer operations.
• Build new connections to ERPs, food management systems, and other third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with the Backend focus team to strengthen product foundations and API endpoints.
• Drive integration projects end-to-end, from scoping and design through to delivery and operation.
• Develop and implement the hirify.global public API for external partners and systems.
• Contribute to core business logic within central parts of the hirify.global product.

Requirements

• Strong interest in backend engineering, data systems, and reliability.
• Working proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Prior experience building or consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL, webhooks).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where ownership is encouraged.
• Collaborative mindset for working across engineering teams.
• Must be based in Europe for remote work options.

Nice to have

• Experience working with third-party systems, ERPs, or food management/POS platforms.
• Familiarity with GCP, Firestore, or PostgreSQL.
