What you will do

  • Translate product requirements into functional production code using high-speed execution cycles.
  • Leverage AI-native workflows with tools like Cursor and Claude to accelerate implementation and refactoring.
  • Lead the incremental migration of a PHP monolith into a scalable, event-driven microservices architecture.
  • Develop AI Agents with specialized skills and connectors to solve customer problems autonomously.
  • Act as the final gatekeeper for security, performance, and architectural integrity of AI-generated code.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
  • Proficiency in PHP, Node.js, Python, and Vue.js.
  • Expertise in utilizing latest AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) to navigate and refactor complex codebases.
  • Ability to design agentic logic and resilient systems beyond basic RAG implementations.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Utrecht office in a hybrid capacity.
