What you will do

• Advise on legal aspects of digital asset initiatives, collaborating on regulatory developments and licensing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including broker and vendor agreements.
• Oversee corporate governance, data protection, and group entity matters.
• Select and manage local external counsel across multiple APAC jurisdictions to ensure business-aligned advice.
• Support strategic cross-border projects, M&A, and new market entries.
• Develop and implement legal policies, templates, and best practices tailored to the APAC region.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 8+ years PQE in a major common law jurisdiction.
• Proven legal expertise in financial markets, commercial, and corporate law.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).
• Ability and network to manage external counsel across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
• Experience dealing with financial regulators is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
