What you will do

• Design and modernize infrastructure architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead migration projects from legacy or on-premises environments into government-approved cloud platforms.
• Implement and manage multi-site infrastructure, including Dell hardware, storage, and rack components.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and disaster recovery plans.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and program management teams to ensure solutions are secure and aligned with mission needs.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across virtualization, networking, and hardware layers.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering or architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting government IT networks.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Hands-on experience with F5 systems, including load balancing and traffic management.
• Experience designing secure network topologies across operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) environments.

Nice to have

• Prior experience supporting DHS, TSA, or other national security missions.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, Equinix Fabric, SD-WAN, or Zero Trust networking.
• Experience with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, or STIG hardening.
• Network automation skills using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or PowerShell.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Security+, or AWS Advanced Networking.
