TL;DR

What you will do
- Design and modernize infrastructure architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Lead migration projects from legacy or on-premises environments into government-approved cloud platforms.
- Implement and manage multi-site infrastructure, including Dell hardware, storage, and rack components.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and disaster recovery plans.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and program management teams to ensure solutions are secure and aligned with mission needs.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across virtualization, networking, and hardware layers.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering or architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting government IT networks.
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with F5 systems, including load balancing and traffic management.
- Experience designing secure network topologies across operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) environments.
Nice to have
- Prior experience supporting DHS, TSA, or other national security missions.
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, Equinix Fabric, SD-WAN, or Zero Trust networking.
- Experience with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, or STIG hardening.
- Network automation skills using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or PowerShell.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Security+, or AWS Advanced Networking.
