What you will do

  • Assess incident severity and coordinate response teams across IT, security, and legal departments.
  • Communicate incident status effectively to senior management and service consumers.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to minimize business impact during critical incidents.
  • Conduct thorough post-incident reviews to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain incident playbooks, decision trees, and knowledge base articles.
  • Update incident response strategies based on findings from continuous improvement reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of practical experience with Incident Management Frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, or DevOps).
  • Proficiency with incident management tools like ServiceNow, Cloudwatch, and PagerDuty.
  • Experience with documentation and collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Broad understanding of modern IT infrastructure and application environments.
  • Must be based in the UK or Europe to align with remote team operations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as PowerBI.
