Quality Control Technician (Defense)

What you will do

• Perform QC inspections of work areas, materials, and services to ensure compliance with contract requirements and technical standards.
• Identify and document deficiencies, nonconforming conditions, or workmanship issues.
• Prepare inspection reports, quality records, and checklists in accordance with customer requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and government representatives regarding findings and corrective actions.
• Verify the completion of corrective actions and perform required follow-up inspections.
• Maintain organized records of inspections, trends, and overall quality-related activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, inspection, or compliance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time (no sponsorship provided).
• Ability to obtain and maintain required U.S. Army installation/base access.
• Applicable certifications and/or licenses in the respective field of work.
• Ability to interpret technical standards, procedures, and checklists.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Secret clearance or prior eligibility for access to military installations.
• Experience supporting QC activities in government, military, or secure industrial environments.
• Familiarity with documentation controls and corrective action tracking.
• Knowledge of quality management principles and compliance-based work environments.
