Salary: $79,000 – $85,000 USD

What you will do

• Manage daily operations of sample management, including pre-accessioning, accessioning, and sample transportation.
• Supervise, train, and coach support staff, including onboarding and performance management.
• Identify and resolve issues related to specimen types and missing information.
• Maintain compliance with test ordering, requirements, and rejection criteria.
• Prepare metrics for quality meetings and track internal/external errors.
• Collaborate with management to develop SOPs and strategic plans to meet commercial goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Diego, CA
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in laboratory accessioning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive hand movements.
