.NET Developer

TL;DR

.NET Developer (Backend): Designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications for federal defense and security sectors with an accent on secure coding standards and system resilience. Focus on building scalable RESTful services, implementing containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and ensuring compliance within high-security environments.

Location: Must be a U.S. citizen and hold an active Top Secret clearance. Position is remote with occasional travel (less than 10%).

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using the .NET framework.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to build clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
• Implement application security hardening techniques to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Integrate version control with automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Bitbucket.
• Manage containerization on Windows servers using Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen currently authorized to work in the U.S.
• 5+ years of software development experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification or higher.
• 3+ years of experience with RESTful web services.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS GovCloud in IL4/IL5 environments.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular v16+.
• Experience with databases including MySQL, MariaDB, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
