TL;DR

Reliability Engineer (Sustainable Energy): Analyzing high-impact performance and reliability drivers to improve wind farm fleet outcomes with an accent on root cause analysis, life cycle asset management, and defect elimination. Focus on developing operational data models to detect equipment behavior changes and optimizing reporting tools for mission-critical components.

Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal (3 days office, 2 days home)

What you will do

  • Analyze performance and reliability drivers to eliminate losses and defects across the wind farm fleet.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and site personnel to resolve anomalies affecting equipment availability and maintainability.
  • Conduct life data analysis, reliability growth, degradation, and recurring event analysis.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) activities and monitor prioritized reliability topics.
  • Build data models for wind farm operational data to detect changes in system behavior.
  • Optimize and update reporting and analysis tools for mission-critical component health.

Requirements

  • B.S. or higher in an engineering field.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power BI or similar data mining tools.
  • Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and 8D methodology.
  • Ability to perform failure prediction and product reliability analysis.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Porto, Portugal
  • English: Proficiency required (CVs are evaluated exclusively in English)

Nice to have

  • Professional certification in the field of Reliability Engineering.
