Anti Cheat Engineer (C++/Windows): Developing and rewriting a flagship anti-cheat engine for game studio clients with an accent on low-level systems programming and security. Focus on reverse engineering new cheats and optimizing engine performance to ensure stability and high game performance.

Location: Remote, must be based in Latin America. Work hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.

What you will do

• Contribute to the development and ongoing rewrite of the flagship anti-cheat engine using C and C++.
• Collaborate with game studio clients to diagnose and resolve bugs to maintain performance and prevent crashes.
• Reverse engineer new cheats identified by the security operations center to drive engine updates.
• Proactively suggest technical ideas and identify blockers in a low-meeting environment.
• Take full technical ownership of the client-side codebase.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C and C++ with essential experience in systems-level programming.
• Proven experience in Windows systems programming.
• Deep background in Security Engineering and expertise with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro or Ghidra.
• Proficiency with GitHub for version control and Jira for issue tracking.
• Ability to work highly autonomously and communicate clearly.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
