Graphic Designer (Starlink)

TL;DR

Graphic Designer (Packaging/Branding): Designing the end-to-end customer packaging experience and visual communications for Starlink with an accent on physical packaging, unboxing journeys, and installation instructions. Focus on transforming complex technology into intuitive visuals and delivering production-ready assets for high-volume printing.

Location: Bastrop, TX. This is not a remote or hybrid position and requires relocation to the Austin, TX area.

What you will do

• Own the complete customer packaging experience, from external visuals to the unboxing journey.
• Translate complex technology into simple, intuitive instructions and clear visual communications.
• Design and implement regulatory, legal, and compliance graphics to meet product requirements.
• Support A/B testing for unboxing experiences and installation guides, iterating based on feedback.
• Elevate Starlink’s customer-facing brand identity through cohesive visuals and storytelling.
• Deliver flawless production-ready assets for high-volume printing and manage external vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, art, web design, or advertising.
• 1+ years of professional design experience in illustration, graphic design, or print production.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the Austin, TX area.
• Mandatory submission of a strong visual portfolio.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience within a creative agency or consumer tech environment.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
• Experience with 3D visualization tools such as Blender or KeyShot.
• Skills in motion graphics, animation, and advanced image retouching/color correction.
