What you will do

• Ensure proactive management of critical end-to-end workflows to improve stability and resilience of global derivatives trading environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, support, and technical business user groups.
• Support and scale algorithmic trading technology while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in a global on-call rotation to maintain continuous 24/7 trading operations.
• Analyze complex data sets to turn rapid incident fixes into robust, scalable engineering solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Front Office application support and vendor management.
• Strong technical skills in Python, PowerShell, C#, SQL, or similar programming languages.
• 8+ years of experience with FIX Engineering and market data distribution platforms (RTDS, DACS, ADH, ADS).
• 5+ years of operational experience with time series frameworks such as kdb or shakti.
• Deep understanding of global futures exchanges and the full exchange-traded derivatives trade lifecycle.
• Must be based in Houston, TX to work directly in a trading room environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Algo regulation, audit, and compliance (RTS6).
• Experience with Third Party Networks and EMS/OMS vendors such as TT, NYFIX, Bloomberg, or TradingScreen.
• Experience debugging network protocols, including TCP and multicast.
