What you will do

• Define and drive a forward-looking research agenda for next-generation communication and compute systems.
• Explore novel architectures and emerging technology paradigms to derive strategic direction.
• Develop prototypes, experiments, and technology demonstrators to prove new concepts.
• Lead technology foresight and strategic assessments of the global telecom landscape.
• Collaborate internationally with academia, startups, and industry leaders.
• Generate intellectual property and contribute to publications and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, EE, Physics, or similar; PhD is a significant plus.
• Expertise in wireless, photonics, AI/HPC, distributed systems, or future internet architecture.
• Strong systems-thinking and architectural mindset.
• Proven experience in applied research, prototyping, or advanced technology development.
• Ability to bridge the gap between research, engineering, and business.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
