What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues during VIP/SDV program pre-production and launch events.
• Lead EOL troubleshooting using V-Spy and partner with IRT, GCA, and repair teams to drive issue closure.
• Document failures and track containment actions using MERS, PRTS/JIRA, and SPPS.
• Analyze and correlate results across EOL test systems (Flash, Static, AVT, DVT) to improve performance.
• Lead disconnect workshops and update standardized work and repair knowledge documentation.
• Support production assembly plants during launch events, requiring up to 25% travel.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience with automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, or EOL testing.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical faults using diagnostic tools like V-Spy/DPS.
• Experience supporting program management activities, readiness reviews, and tracking issue closure.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Must be based in the US; GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience in an automotive manufacturing plant environment (Electrical or Plant Floor Operations).
• Exposure to DVT, AVT, EOL test systems, and electrical engineering principles.
• Experience supporting UAW-represented environments or plant repair teams.
• Working knowledge of GMS and support of BIQ4 deliverables.
