TL;DR
Test & Validation Engineer (Engineering): Designing and optimizing transmission and torque converter control systems for heavy machinery with an accent on on-machine software calibration and validation. Focus on developing clutch control strategies, performing simulations, and analyzing data to improve machine performance and durability.
Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Mossville, IL. Domestic relocation available. Visa sponsorship is NOT available.
Salary: $97,530 - $146,290

What you will do
- Collaborate with design, mechatronics, and software engineers to optimize hardware and controls for powershift transmissions.
- Plan and execute on-machine control software calibration and validation.
- Manage control system specifications and conduct design reviews.
- Design clutch control strategies to meet performance and durability targets.
- Perform simulations for clutch control systems.
- Collect and analyze data to optimize controls performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or materials science.
- Extensive experience in product testing, troubleshooting technical problems, and analytical thinking.
- Strong skills in project management and technical communication.
- Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available).
- Ability to work onsite in Mossville, IL.
Nice to have
- Experience with controls development tools, specifically Powershift transmission controls.
- Interest and ability to work in varying environments (field/shop/lab).
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (after training).
