What you will do

• Design and implement deep learning models for histopathology, genomics, and transcriptomics data.
• Develop multimodal AI architectures integrating imaging, molecular, and clinical data sources.
• Build scalable, production-quality machine learning pipelines using AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Apply advanced techniques including CNNs, vision transformers, and foundation model fine-tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research prototypes into validated clinical tools.
• Analyze model outputs to generate reproducible biological and clinical insights.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Strong production-level programming skills in Python and hands-on expertise with PyTorch.
• Experience developing machine learning models for biomedical applications (imaging, genomics, or multi-omics).
• Proven ability to manage datasets and training workflows in cloud environments (AWS).
• Experience adapting pre-trained foundation models for downstream biomedical tasks.

Nice to have

• Domain knowledge in oncology, biomarker discovery, or clinical precision medicine.
• Experience with digital pathology software and whole-slide imaging analysis.
• Familiarity with survival modeling or longitudinal prediction.
