What you will do

• Lead a team of compositors across multiple projects, providing creative and technical direction for shot creation and finishing.
• Collaborate with VFX Supervisors and Producers to implement and execute client visions to the highest standards.
• Participate in technical and creative calls with directors and clients to align on project goals.
• Coordinate with internal departments to assign tasks efficiently under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times.
• Review shots and provide constructive feedback to maintain quality and consistency across large sequences.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and ensure strict quality control for all deliverables.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in a VFX studio environment.
• Expert proficiency in Nuke/NukeX, Mocha Pro, and Photoshop.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Citizen or PR).
• Proven experience supervising artists on both episodic and feature film projects.
• Strong artistic aptitude for shot composition, design, and look development.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with After Effects and CG software packages.
• Proficiency with Shotgrid management software.
