Location: Full-time in-office based out of Edmonton, Alberta

Salary: $80,000–$100,000

What you will do

• Develop and refine the visual style for the project.
• Produce polished concept art for characters, environments, and key moments.
• Collaborate with the Art Director to determine scope and requirements for concept pieces.
• Iterate quickly using sketches, roughs, and 3D block-ins to provide directional options.
• Generate 2D assets including paint-overs, mood concepts, callout sheets, and UI elements.
• Produce art for pitch decks, Kickstarter campaigns, and marketing materials.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Edmonton, Alberta.
• Strong proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience working within game development pipelines.
• Degree, diploma, or certificate in Art, Illustration, Animation, or Design (or equivalent experience).
• Proven portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual development work.

Nice to have

• Texturing skills and experience working with Unreal Engine or other game engines.
• Experience with Maya, Blender, or other 3D DCC packages.
