Location: Must be a current Ontario resident or willing to relocate to Ontario, Canada
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 CAD per year

What you will do
- Create high-quality animations for in-game cinematics and marketing materials.
- Design and polish character performances for both pre-rendered and real-time cinematics.
- Innovate and maintain the cinematic animation pipeline, workflows, and best practices.
- Integrate and troubleshoot animation assets within Unreal Engine to ensure seamless implementation.
- Manage end-to-end motion capture workflows, including shoot planning, cleanup, and retargeting.
- Mentor junior animators and collaborate with technical artists to improve cinematic tools and rigs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional animation experience.
- Proficiency in Maya and Motion Builder.
- Experience with Unreal Engine or similar game engines.
- Strong focus on facial animations and creating realistic human animation sets.
- Animation reel demonstrating high-level technical skillsets.
- Must be a current resident of Ontario or willing to relocate to Ontario.
Nice to have
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5 and UE5 Sequencer.
- Experience creating in-game scripted sequences.
- Background in developing AAA action or fighting games.
- Experience with motion capture systems such as Xsens, Vicon, or Opti track.
