What you will do

• Design and execute large-scale pretraining experiments using multi-segment inspection data.
• Develop self-supervised and multi-task learning recipes for transfer across vehicle use cases.
• Construct distillation pipelines to provide efficient, compact models for production teams.
• Implement fast-adaptation methods to minimize labeling requirements for new customers.
• Maintain high research standards through rigorous evaluation, ablations, and publications.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in deep learning research focusing on foundation models, SSL, or multi-task learning.
• Proven track record of training large-scale models on real-world multi-modal or vision data.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and distributed training techniques.
• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between research and engineering.
• M.Sc./Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (strong advantage).

Nice to have

• Experience with model compression, distillation, or efficient inference.
• Publications in top AI venues like NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, or ICCV.
