Senior Software Engineer, AI

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (AI): Design, build, and maintain reusable AI capabilities, including models, tools, APIs, and platforms, powering internal and customer-facing solutions with an accent on AI guardrails and evaluation frameworks. Focus on building and optimizing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and accelerating AI adoption across the company.

Location: Hybrid work in Tel Aviv, Israel. Team members based near key hubs are expected to work from the office at least three days per week.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain reusable AI capabilities, including models, tools, APIs, and platforms.
• Develop and maintain the internal MCP server that exposes data stores to AI agents.
• Create and implement evaluation frameworks and AI guardrails to ensure model reliability.
• Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.
• Take full ownership of projects from gathering requirements to deployment and operation.
• Partner with teams to accelerate AI adoption and productization efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend and server-side development experience building scalable systems.
• Experience with at least one general-purpose language (preferably Python).
• Strong product management skills to gather and refine requirements from non-technical users.
• A strong sense of ownership with some DevOps experience.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools like Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
• Experience working with public clouds (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with agentic coding tools like Claude code or Copilot CLI.
• Familiarity with Strands Agents (or similar agentic technologies), RAGs, and Bedrock.
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Comfortable in a containerized environment.
