What you will do

• Design and execute high-scale performance benchmarks using real-world enterprise workloads for Azure hirify.global Files.
• Build automated test frameworks and lab environments utilizing Python and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture design sessions, and proofs of concept to accelerate customer deals.
• Provide sizing, configuration, and optimization guidance for large-scale multi-petabyte production deployments.
• Publish high-quality technical content, reference architectures, and best practices aligned with Microsoft Learn standards.
• Collaborate with Microsoft and hirify.global engineering to influence product roadmaps via performance insights.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture, performance engineering, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise storage.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong fundamentals in Linux systems and TCP/IP networking.
• Hands-on experience with storage protocols such as NFS, SMB, or S3.
• Automation proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure hirify.global Files, and VMware on Azure.

Nice to have

• Experience publishing industry benchmarks like SPECstorage.
• Background in HPC, EDA, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Database performance expertise across SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AI, machine learning workloads, Kubernetes, or observability tools.
