Sr. Benefits Analyst (Workers' Compensation)

Location: Onsite in Hawthorne, California; this is not a remote or hybrid position and requires relocation if not already local.

What you will do

• Manage assigned workers' compensation claims through closure.
• Explain benefits, procedures, and applicable regulations to injured employees and management.
• Coordinate return-to-work opportunities and act as a liaison among employees, leadership, insurers, medical providers, and consultants.
• Partner with the onsite safety department to investigate incidents, file claims, identify red flags, and escalate issues.
• Analyze company exposure, respond to workers' compensation subpoenas, and support related benefits, wellness, retirement, and leave administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of human resources experience in benefits administration, leave administration, or workers' compensation.
• Independent judgment, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple high-priority matters.
• Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Must meet applicable U.S. ITAR authorization requirements, including U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorization.

• PHR certification and professional human resources affiliations.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills.
