What you will do

  • Process medical record requests and patient authorization forms, including provider letters.
  • Coordinate with providers, patients, and internal teams to manage and retrieve medical files.
  • Assist members with Mental Health Leaves & Accommodations (MHLA) requests.
  • Provide weekly metrics on new, in-progress, and completed records requests.
  • Handle daily administrative duties, including emails, inbound/outbound calls, and support tickets.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines to maintain the confidentiality of PHI.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar medical administrative role.
  • Advanced understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and MS Office.
  • Availability to work EST shifts, including one weekend per month and at least four holidays per year.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and operate efficiently in rapidly changing environments.
