Salary: $295,000 - $345,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and lead external cyber policy strategy across U.S. federal stakeholders, allied governments, and critical infrastructure regulators.
• Serve as the principal point of contact for senior cyber policymakers and sector risk management agencies.
• Shape internal policies to mitigate cyber risks, including offensive misuse and vulnerability disclosure.
• Collaborate with technical teams (Frontier Red Team and Safeguards) to translate research into policy proposals.
• Promote partnerships with public and private cyber defenders on model testing and threat intelligence sharing.
• Provide thought leadership on the evolution of the global cyber landscape and the offense-defense balance in the AI era.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance (or held one in the last two years) and the ability to maintain it.
• Proven track record of advocacy with cyber regulators, Congressional committees, and agencies such as CISA, ONCD, NSC, DOD, and the IC.
• Deep familiarity with U.S. and Five Eyes cyber policy institutions and authorities.
• Experience designing and advocating for concrete cyber policy and regulatory proposals.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for briefing senior government officials.
• Must be based in Washington, DC to comply with the hybrid office policy.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity policy roles across government and private sectors.
• Direct prior experience at CISA, ONCD, NSC, NSA, U.S. Cyber Command, or DOD CIO.
• Experience leading large-scale public-private cyber partnerships.
• Contribution to national cyber strategies, secure-by-design initiatives, or international cyber norms.
• Operational government cybersecurity or offensive cyber experience.
