What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of security engineers focusing on IAM across cloud and infrastructure environments.
• Define and execute the technical strategy for authentication, authorization, privileged access, and access governance.
• Design and implement scalable security controls, automation, and guardrails within GCP and AWS environments.
• Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to enforce least privilege access while enabling developer productivity.
• Drive security reviews, risk assessments, and incident response efforts related to identity and access security.
• Mentor engineers and influence cross-functional stakeholders on IAM strategy and long-term technical direction.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and adhere to the "default together" policy (working from the office 4+ days per week).
• 8+ years of post-bachelor's security experience (or Master's + 7 years / PhD + 4 years).
• 1+ year(s) of experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Deep understanding of IAM concepts including RBAC/ABAC, SSO, and privileged access management.
• Experience securing large-scale cloud environments in GCP and/or AWS.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to streamline development combined with the judgment to audit output for security risks.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container and Kubernetes security principles, specifically EKS or GKE.
• Experience partnering with compliance, audit, or risk management organizations.
• Knowledge of modern identity standards such as OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM.
