What you will do

• Record and maintain journal entries to ensure general ledger accuracy.
• Collaborate with Operations and AP teams to manage data accuracy and monthly accruals.
• Perform monthly close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Update and maintain accounting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned areas.
• Manage prepaid and lease schedules and assist the Treasury team with payments.
• Perform variance analysis on P&L movements and identify process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Guadalajara, Mexico
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting (preferably Big 4) or an accounting function.
• English: Strong business level proficiency required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to prioritize deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
