Finance Manager (Mexico)

What you will do

• Own day-to-day accounting processes, including monthly financial closings and trial balance preparation.
• Collaborate with third-party firms to ensure statutory and tax compliance in Mexico.
• Manage internal controls, audit support, and financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Drive continuous improvement and system automation projects, including SAP S4 rollouts.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury cash flow forecasting.
• Supervise and coach accounting staff to meet departmental and regional goals.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting with CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Accounting with Big 4 background preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Must reside within commutable distance to Mexico City office (4 days/week in-office).
• Strong knowledge of Mexico Tax Compliance (Income Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
