What you will do

• Shape the technical direction and architecture of the Kiro Autonomous Agent service.
• Translate real-world development challenges into product capabilities using a customer-obsessed approach.
• Build and operate production systems using industry-leading CI/CD practices to ensure reliability and performance.
• Develop features across the full lifecycle, from compiler technologies to agent training and steering.
• Balance innovation with operational excellence to meet AWS standards for scale and security.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
• Experience developing large-scale, distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Proficiency in Object Oriented Design.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Seattle, WA, USA.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, and operations.
