What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend services to support online features.
• Develop client-side systems in C++ for online features using Unreal Engine.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting for deployed services.
• Collaborate with design, art, and production teams to shape connected player experiences.
• Write clean, performant, and well-tested code.
• Mentor team members and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in game development.
• Proficiency in C++, Go, and Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and networking protocols.
• Experience building online or multiplayer game systems.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (Kubernetes, AWS).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 or similar engines.
• Proven track record of shipping AAA multiplayer titles.
• Passion for playing or watching sports.
