Location: Liverpool, UK. Remote and flexible working around core hours.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Design to define the vision and identify requirements for vehicle AI.
  • Design and implement reliable, maintainable, and bug-free AI features and frameworks.
  • Take ownership of the technical design and development of AI systems.
  • Investigate, implement, and debug a variety of AI features.
  • Follow best practices, development processes, and coding standards.

Requirements

  • Excellent C/C++ knowledge.
  • Professional experience working in a games studio.
  • Experience developing AI awareness, decision making, behavior, or navigation systems.
  • Strong understanding of 3D math (linear algebra, vectors, quaternions).
  • Proven track record of shipping multiple titles.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine and multiplayer environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with dedicated server network models.
  • Experience interfacing AI systems with vehicle physics or driving models.
