What you will do

• Design and build APIs and backend services using Spring Boot to support analytics workflows.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Apache Spark and Apache Airflow.
• Optimize data storage and processing systems for high-scale datasets using Druid, Trino, or StarRocks.
• Partner with data science and product teams to deliver high-impact measurement solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering.
• Expertise in big data technologies including Apache Spark and Apache Airflow.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of: Apache Druid, StarRocks, or Trino.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with distributed systems architecture.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA and able to work in the office Monday–Thursday.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic AI systems for analytics automation.
• Background in AdTech and campaign measurement platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
