Location: Hybrid: Must report to Markham Elevation Centre (MEC) or Oshawa Elevation Centre (OEC) at least three times per week.

Salary: $73,900 – $110,900

What you will do

• Design and maintain embedded software for brake controls and diagnostics for future SDV platforms.
• Develop scalable and reusable software architectures to support various vehicle applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with VMCC architecture and SDV milestones.
• Perform software integration, issue resolution, and validation to ensure reliability and high-quality performance.
• Apply BDD principles and CI/CD pipelines for software deployment according to quality requirements.
• Ensure requirements traceability and robust design for safety-critical applications.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in Canada now or in the future.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week).

Nice to have

• Strong programming skills in C and/or C++.
• Experience with AUTOSAR, OBD-II diagnostics, and Automotive Safety Integrity Levels (ASIL).
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded Coder.
• Experience with ETAS/INCA or Intrepid/Vehicle Spy.
• Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin.
