What you will do

• Design, simulate, and realize innovative physical layer wireless communication algorithms for low-latency applications.
• Implement modem and system models to perform detailed performance investigations.
• Enable performance sign-off and facilitate RTL development.
• Collaborate with digital designers and firmware developers to ensure power and area-efficient implementations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the design, build, and deployment of digital modem systems.
• Deep knowledge of digital modem design, including pulse shaping, clock offset tracking, and adaptive equalization.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Matlab for algorithm development and link-level simulation.
• Experience with fixed-point design, simulation, and analysis.
• MS or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in logic design for wireless modem FPGAs, ASICs, or custom data-path components.
• Familiarity with RF and microwave components such as oscillators, mixers, and PCB layout.
