Cloud Administrator (Azure)

Location: Worldwide; fully remote, hybrid, or on-site work options are available

Salary: £48,000–£76,000 per year, depending on experience, plus discretionary performance bonuses

What you will do

• Manage and maintain primarily Azure-based cloud infrastructure for internal systems, build environments, and live services.
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost.
• Manage cloud networking, identity, and access controls.
• Support CI/CD and build pipeline integrations while collaborating with development and data teams.
• Implement backup, resilience, disaster recovery, and cloud security practices.
• Identify and deliver practical, iterative infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience administering Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and identity management.
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions.
• Knowledge of high-availability and scalable architecture principles.
• Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Bash, C#, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of cloud storage and database solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience in an indie games studio, small tech company, or startup.
• Experience supporting live game services or game production workloads.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
• Cloud cost optimization and governance experience.
• Programming skills, particularly C#, or familiarity with hirify.global games.
