Process Engineer (Waste To Energy)

TL;DR

Process Engineer (Waste To Energy): Responsible for Balance Of Plants (BoP) or Flue Gas Treatment (FGT) process related questions within the execution phase of the project with an accent on development of Heat and Material Balance, process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID). Focus on sizing of static and rotating equipment and production of related technical documentation.

Location: Piazza Luigi Einaudi, 8, 20124 Milano MI, Italy. Home Office possible 2 days a week.

Salary: 48000 euros per year

What you will do

• Develop Heat and Material Balance, process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID) and functional description for the plant automation.
• Size static and rotating equipment and produce related technical documentation.
• Perform technical evaluation and comparison of process related parts of offers from suppliers.
• Carry out risk analysis (HAZOP).
• Support the Commissioning Team for Process related items and Process reviews during commissioning and before trial operation.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in a comparable function in the energy, environmental technology, renewable energies or in a similar industry.
• Master’s degree in Chemical or Environmental engineering.
• Knowledge of process engineering and equipment design.
• Reliability, time-management and team-working skills.
• Fluent in English.
