IOP Counselor (LCAS/CADC)

What you will do

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for patients in the intensive outpatient program.
• Perform patient admissions using ASAM criteria and orient patients to program services.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the recovery care team and clinical supervisor to develop multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Provide crisis support and empower patients to achieve their best level of functioning.
• Participate in community outreach and professional development activities as assigned.

Requirements

• LCAS or CADC licensure is required.
• Must be able to work on-site in Asheville, NC.
• Strong knowledge of substance abuse population and treatment planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a medical office environment.
