What you will do

• Lead and supervise a team of financial analysts engaged in monthly forecasting, closing, and annual budget processes.
• Develop sophisticated financial models from scratch to influence capital allocation and strategy shifts.
• Partner with senior commercial, operations, and support leaders to collaborate on and execute business strategy.
• Analyze variances between actuals, forecasts, and plans to iterate on financial insights and drive action.
• Mature planning processes and implement finance best practices to help the organization transition from startup to enterprise.
• Innovate traditional forecasting methods by adopting new technical skill sets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance at a large enterprise or startup.
• Must be based in or able to work in Chicago, IL.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP.

Nice to have

• Experience in the transportation industry.
• MBA, CFA, or CPA certification.
• Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, or Tableau.
• Elite Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Working knowledge of enterprise-level financial planning systems.
