Accountant (Finance)

Job position: ACCOUNTANT
OFFLINE in DUBAI

Main tasks / responsibilities:
•  Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system
•  Record and reconcile payments in a timely manner
•  Prepare and execute payment orders via online banking systems
•  Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely settlement of payables
•  Calculate and account for interest on loans
•  Ad-hoc tasks from management and supervisors

Monthly/ Quarterly Closing Responsibilities:
•  Perform month-end reconciliations, including matching balances with the free zone portal
•  Prepare and review bank reconciliations
•  Ensure all invoices issued by the free zone authority are accurately recorded and settled on time

Annual Closing Responsibilities: 
•  Preparation of annual financial statement with all the disclosures
•  Preparation of annual tax returns with possible support by tax consultant
•  Collaboration with auditors
•  Ad-hoc tasks from management and supervisors.

Qualifications and skills:
•  Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting or Accounting diploma
•  Fluent in Russian and English (both written and spoken)
•  3-5 years of working experience as Accountant
•  Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
•  Attentive, detail oriented, well-organized, results oriented and proactive
•  Experience working in a free zone company is an advantage
•  Experience in preparing annual financial statements and working with auditors
