What you will do

• Define and drive the project's technical vision in alignment with creative and production goals.
• Provide pragmatic technical solutions that support game features while balancing innovation and risk.
• Own the technical performance strategy, including memory budgets and rendering targets across PC and console.
• Act as a key technical advisor for project planning, scoping, and resource management.
• Drive high standards of code quality, architecture, and engineering practices across the team.
• Evaluate and integrate new Unreal Engine capabilities to enhance production readiness.

Requirements

• Extensive game development experience with multiple shipped titles.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Unreal Engine and strong C++ programming skills.
• Proven ability to define and own technical performance strategies in multi-platform settings.
• Strong people leadership experience, including managing and developing engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based at our Guildford studio.
